The scan may take some time to complete, but it could potentially fix the issue. To run an SFC scan, open the Command Prompt in Windows and type "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes) and press Enter. However, you could try running a system file checker (SFC) scan in Windows to check for and repair any corrupted system files that may be causing the issue. Unfortunately, since you did not set a restore point before the update, it may not be possible to return to the previous version of Windows. If reinstalling Dragon Professional Individual does not resolve the issue, you may need to roll back the Windows update to a previous version. To do this, you can go to the Control Panel in Windows and select "Programs and Features," then find Dragon Professional Individual in the list of installed programs and select "Uninstall." After the software is uninstalled, you can then reinstall it from the original installation file or download a new copy from the Nuance website. One thing you can try is to uninstall and reinstall Dragon Professional Individual to see if that resolves the issue. It sounds like the update to Windows 11 Insider Preview 25281.1000 (rs_prerelease) may have caused compatibility issues with Dragon Professional Individual 15.61, resulting in the error messages and unstable behavior you are experiencing. I’d be more than happy to help you with your query Thank you for your question and reaching out. I have to shut down windows and restart to quit Dragon. But it's impossible to close it because when I try I get another box saying "the user 'nospeaker' is not found'. From that time, Dragon opens but I get a box saying that it is unstable and needs to be closed and restarted. It all worked perfectly until I installed the OS update Windows 11 Insider Preview 25281.1000 (rs_prerelease) on 24 January 2023.
